What is your battery warranty for electric buses?
+Our standard warranty for traction batteries on Tenglong electric buses:
Coverage: 5 years or 500,000 km, whichever comes first.
Capacity Promise: Remaining capacity not less than 80% of rated capacity at end of warranty.
Module Replacement: Defective modules replaced free of charge during warranty period.
Vehicle Powertrain: Motor, MCU, DC-DC, and on-board charger warranted for 3 years / 300,000 km.
Extended warranty packages up to 8 years are available on request.
-
Do you support LHD and RHD configurations?
+All Tenglong bus platforms are engineered to support both Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) layouts from the chassis up — not as a retrofit.
This means:
Steering column, pedal box, dashboard wiring and HVAC ducts are factory-built for the chosen side.
Door layout (entry/exit) follows local traffic regulations.
Headlamp beam pattern is set to the destination market standard.
RHD configurations are common in the UK, India, Pakistan, East Africa and parts of Southeast Asia; LHD covers the rest of our export markets.
-
What is your typical production lead time?
+Production lead times vary by configuration and order volume:
Stock Chassis / Sample Buses: 15-25 days after deposit.
Customized CBU Bus: 45-60 days from PO confirmation, including paint, signage and homologation paperwork.
Large CKD/SKD Batch (50+ units): 75-90 days, with sub-batches shipped weekly.
Each milestone — body welding, painting, electrical install, road test — is reported with photos. Production schedules and shipping windows are confirmed in the Sales Contract.
-
What certifications and standards do your buses meet?
+Our buses and chassis are designed and tested against international standards, including:
CCC (China Compulsory Certification) for all domestic configurations.
ECE R10 (EMC), R66 (superstructure strength), R107 (M2/M3 vehicle approval).
IEC 62133, UN38.3, GB 38031 for traction batteries.
EAC / GOST available for CIS markets; SASO for Saudi Arabia; SONCAP for Nigeria.
We assist with COC and homologation documentation and can arrange third-party type-approval testing on request.
-
Do you offer CKD and SKD options for export?
+Tenglong offers three export modes to suit different market and regulatory requirements:
CBU (Complete Built-Up): Fully assembled vehicle ready for road registration.
SKD (Semi Knock-Down): Major sub-assemblies packed for fast local re-assembly.
CKD (Complete Knock-Down): Full kits with welding fixtures, wiring harnesses and assembly manuals; ideal for local content requirements.
We provide assembly drawings, line-balance guidance and on-site engineer support during the first production batch.
-
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for buses?
+Tenglong supports flexible MOQ depending on the configuration:
CBU (Complete Built-Up) Bus: MOQ = 1 unit. Samples and trial orders are welcome.
Chassis / SKD: MOQ = 5 units per model.
CKD Kits: MOQ = 10 units; suitable for partners with local assembly lines.
For mixed-model fleet orders, the total unit count is aggregated. We offer tiered discounts on orders of 10, 30, and 50+ units. Contact our export team for a tailored quotation.
-
What are your payment terms for international bus orders?
+We accept the following payment methods for international bus and chassis orders:
T/T (Wire Transfer): 30% deposit upon Purchase Order confirmation and 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading before shipment.
Irrevocable L/C at Sight: Available for orders above USD 200,000 with a top-tier issuing bank.
D/P or D/A: Case-by-case, subject to credit check.
Bank details and the official PI are issued by our export sales team after specs and Incoterms are confirmed. All payments are settled in USD or EUR.

Does your company manufacture electric buses? What is the driving range on a single charge?
+Thank you for your interest in and inquiries regarding Tenglong Motors. Our company manufactures public buses and coaches powered by pure electric, diesel, and CNG systems.
If you require a more advanced solution, we also produce hydrogen fuel cell buses.
The driving range achievable on a single charge depends on the power output of the fast-charging stations available in your local area. For instance, if the electric vehicle you purchase is equipped with a 350 kWh battery pack and you utilize a 240 kW charging station, it would take 70 minutes to charge from 0% to 80% SOC (State of Charge), 26 minutes to charge from 80% to 95%, and 30 minutes to charge from 95% to 100%.
